That's 35 sealings ready to be done. Redge is going to take them and do them in his ward.(He's the high priest leader, you know. He told me that one day in SS class, an older man in the back said, (kinda too loud), "What's that kid doing in here, anyway?" hah hah! )
Well, the "Kid" is going to do some good !
Before I gave the cards to him, I just wanted to write down each name and think about them as a child waiting to be sealed to their parents.
I remember when all four of us girls knelt around the alter with Mom and Dads hands underneath and each of ours on top. It was indescribably joyful. I felt like my heart would burst! And now that our Dad is gone it's so comforting to know that we are still sealed to him! This is just a little time away. But, by the power of the Holy Priesthood the sealing power is real and valid, if we but remain worthy and keep our covenants.
When I called mom this morning, she was reading her scriptures. She said, "I hope I'm doing everything I need to so I can one day meet the Savior and counted valiant." I thought, "Mom! you're one of the most faithful women I know!" I guess you have to keep worrying so you keep trying hard!
I love doing the research. I love finding family names and sealing them together in the temple. It's what really matters! I know we are blessed when we do this great work.
