Lovely...

You know how you get stuck on a word sometimes and it seems to fit everything?

 Well, mine right now is.... "lovely!" 

I think I got it stuck in my head as I was memorizing the Primary song... I lived in Heaven.  The line is..."My choice was to come to this lovely home on earth...and seek for his light to direct me from birth." 

Well...the Lovely got stuck...it can fit everything...if you want it to...

Of course it depends on  "how you say it. "

Lose your car keys and your running late..... Lovely!

Look out at the river when the sun is coming out and it's kinda foggy..."  sigh...Lovely!"

My speech kid gave me a hug on his last day and said, "I'm gonna miss you Bodily."  Kids really are so sweet and ...L o v e r l y. 

Ateacher asked  me "what was on my glasses"...I take them off and look....a hunk of TP hooked to the nose piece...That's lovely!

Made blueberry bean muffins in preparation for my Bean Cuisine Enrichment tomorrow night (40 woman signed up...coming to my house!), whew...They  turned out Lovely.   

Slipped on an icy sidewalk today and fell all the way down.  I'm sure I looked ...that's right...lovely.

So if you need a word in your head...you can borrow mine.  It's been lovely to chat with you.

Ty Ty

While browsing through some pictures, I found this picture of Ty and I really like it. He has such a "good look" here, don't you think?  Like you could just start talking to him? He's a good daddy and a good husband and a good dentist and a good church worker.  I  like his new glasses, too.  I sure think he's a handsome "hunk of a man." Fun to live by.  Thanks for the movie last night, Ty.

A picture is worth a thousand words!

 

Almost makes me cry, I love them so much.

I guess, North Carolina is a nice place to be.

It took a trip out there to quit being mad at Redge for moving his family to North Carolina.  Well, now why wouldn't I be mad?  After all, he took these grand kids 2000 miles from their Grandma!

We had a wonderful visit with them! 


Redge is having some GROWING and rewarding experiences with his company.  He knows it was the right thing  for them to do.

They live in a beautiful neighbor hood, clean and pleasant! and are in the warm and circling arms of a very strong and faithful "hi-tech" ward. 

The kids postponed their Christmas a day to "open it" with us.  Can you believe they did that? Do you know how important and loved we felt?

They have an awesome bike path right behind their house...that leads them to a cool park. New scooters for Christmas.

 

 I think somebody likes baby sister!
 

Fun .... games.... and good food there...just like Christmas should be!

Happy Birthday to my sweet daughters.

That's right...I have two daughter in laws having back to back birthdays this week end.  Oh, how I love and appreciate them.  Each have brought good things to the Bodily Family and then putting up with my sons...puts icing on their mother in law, brownie-point cake! 

  May I Iist a few things I dearly love about each of them:
 

Cyndee is a Mother with a Capital M!
On duty with a mother heart.
Finds happiness in the simple things.
Is clean and organized!
 Thrifty and careful with their money.
Efficient and capable in the task at hand.  
Makes fabulous whole wheat bread. 
Super supportive of Redge... in fact "the wind beneath his wings."  
   Musically talented.
Unselfish.
Is kind. A friend. 
Approachable and easy to talk to.
Is spiritually sensitive and has a testimony.
Is beautiful!

The vinyl board she gave me explains one of her most beautiful traits:

and make a memory.

A New Year!

Happy 2009!






There is something so wonderful a new year!  It's  a fresh start! isn't it?     A second chance to do better, be better, make a difference, improve!  It's like that first sheet of paper in a notebook!  all blank and ready for me to write whatever I want on it.  I LOVE IT! 

A "New Year" is mother to each bright new day... did  you know I like mornings, too?  Words such as fresh. early. first. new. great adjectives to describe my "get up and go" feelings about each new day in a new year! 

Now, along with this exclamation, I want to share a poem that my Sister Marcia shared with me...from an old old Relief Society Magazine...that further explains my feelings of hope and renewal as we approach a brand new 2009.

 I shut the door of yesterday,

It’s sorrows and mistakes;

I’ve locked within its gloomy walls

Past failures and heartaches.

 And now I’ve thrown the key away

To seek another room,

To furnish it with hopes and smiles

And every springtime bloom.

 No thought shall enter this abode

That has a hint of pain.

And every malice and distrust

Shall never therein reign.

 I’ve shut the door on yesterday,

And thrown the key away

Tomorrow holds no doubt for me,

Since I have found today.

So no matter what you wish you'd done last year...let it go!...face forward and with the help of the Lord...resolve with me to look for the good and make the most of each day.  I love this life.
