Oh this is so simple.
Genius daughter thought of it.
To arrange vintage books in a wooden box, isn't really the idea here. (No, no, our adorable daughter doesn't even like vintage. I know that is hard to imagine, but works well when we go to garage sales and thrift shopping together.)
The idea, however, does involve an address book.
Just pick one up at the dollar store. And then - you know all those password for all the websites? Is that ever confusing? Whoosh. Imagine your computer crashing and well, the layers of civilization you'd like to revisit in Internet land and oops, sorry you can go there you don't have your passwords. Frightening.
Well, put them in this handy dandy little address book - alphabetically. Great idea. (Thanks favorite daughter.)
And in the mean time if you want to fiddle with old wooden boxes - propping things up and moving them about, that's okay also.
