So how can I expect you to?
Honestly, I can't.
In about February...with RR being retired and post heart surgery.
We needed something to look forward to.
So I (and I mean "I") bought season tickets to the Coeur d'Alene summer theater.
RR was hesitant.
I soldiered on.
We (and I mean "we) loved them.
Wonderful cool summer evenings - easy parking on the North Idaho campus.
Great seats. Small town feeling - but big town wonderful performances.
The final one was Hairspray.
I was hesitant.REAL hesitant.
We smiled - held hands - laughed enjoyed every minute.
See what great seats we had?
Oh it was so delightful.
Edna Turnblad stole the show.
When Edna and Wilbur did their little love song....I was holding hands with the man that is timeless to me...and there was a tear in our eye.
Now the "I can't believe it" part.
The other night I walked into RR's office where he was watching TV.
He was watching South Pacific - the stage production.
(That should be written in all caps with several ?? and !!! sprinkled through out)
Can you believe it? He had a tear in his eye. He was loving it.
I happened into the room just as Some Enchanted Evening was being sung.
Use your imagination...
That's okay.. your best most wonderful tender loving some enchanted evening imagination.
We are buying tickets for next year.
"Never let him go."
