Proving the point - the more you do the more you do...and the more you do the better you get.
(Note the binding on the top - I am liking that also - no binding in the way and easier to write in, so I am making some of the books this way, also. Yes, we are liking these - getting better.)
I like the messier look. I have also started doing some machine stitching in addition to the gluing.
It has evolved.
I like doing little collage pieces - and the messier look of those...
So I have begun the messier look on book covers.
Someday I'll share the little nest of bits and pieces that gather around my chair as I work on these.
I am sneaking in a couple shows before the end of the 2010 season.
I am doing Two Women and Rolane from Vintage Barn is going to the Creative Connection event and taking along a few of my things.
I have had things in a few other shows this year - but this is the first show we are actually setting up and doing - it feels good to have enough 'mojo' back to be fiddling in The Magic Room.
(What does mojo mean? I am definately thinking definition number three NOT number one - no hoodoo going on around here.)
OK - Ready to begin my day - lighting a candle and enjoying some of that lovely attar wafting through the air as I scurry about.
