I still have that 'button'

I am sure you know the one.
That one that little kids have.

When we bought our daughter a pair of pink tennis shoes one time - she slept with them for a week.
That button.

I knew I still had it when we got our car - but heck, a car is something you NEED and while that activated the button - it was different, somehow.
(RR and I slept in the new car the first night we brought her home - it's our tradition.)

BUT this is - well - this is that giddy excited. The one little kids get.

 

I couldn't sleep.
I had to get up and get it and bring it to bed.
I had to sleep with it.

I know I don't NEED it.
I have lived without even a cell phone since I started working at home.
But.

Oh my.
This little computer in a pocket is just so fun.
As our son said - it is like 'living IN the future'.
And to be honest, it feels real good to have that button activated, again.
