The Farm Chicks show was great, in so many ways. One fun thing was hosting a 'give away' and picking a winner. So much fun, I've decided to try it here. Yes, I'll ship anywhere. I don't really know how to do the international thing, but I am sure the really nice, patient, kind, happy folks at the post office will be more than willing to help me :). I don't expect to get 10,000 comments like The Pioneer Woman - but hope a few of you will comment and enter the give away for this...

The perfect size as a vintage lunch bag..or to tuck in a book and pair of sunglasses as you head to the park.

What type of vintage lover are you? You know there are different kinds. I found every variety at the show and I have to say, I love all ya all.
Now I have decided to title the types with initials of folks I know and love. Some are true vintage and some, well, not so much.
RR - (as in my dear husband Ranger Rick) Enjoys vintage for it's 'well made' quality. Loves oak (ugh, I don't) and dove tail corners. Not fond of peely paint or lopsided falling apart, but likes well made vintage items.
BB - enjoys vintage through someone else's eyes. Can see and appreciate what 'vintage' folks appreciate but umm...not in my house. If you win this prize it will be given away to someone who will REALLY love it.
CM - Likes vintage in that it has history, and will go nicely with the Pottery Barn items in the house. Knows that there are great things in the thrift store and at garage sales but would rather have someone find them and deliver them - after they have been washed and cleaned up. Going into thrift stores makes one happy they have hand sanitizer in the car.
LH - likes vintage because it reminds them of something they had many years ago...before they donated it to Goodwill. Enjoys memory lane as they look at all the 'old' things, but to be honest really likes a new coat of paint on things.
AM - a true blue vintage lover...loves the smell - the hunt - the feel - the everything about it. Will bring it home and love it. Has more collections than we are even willing to admit. (except to other AM's)The prize will immediately fit with other things in the house. This person often finds herself just looking and touching and smelling and handling the old things in her home, and enjoying every minute.

RR - likes solid good oak
BB - understands but not in my house
CM - okay but please wash it first
LH - use to have it - but wonders if a coat of paint would make it better.
AM - (that's me in case you wonder) LOVES everything about it. Don't need to wash it - change it - paint it...just bring it on home and love it.
Okay so which of the five types are you? If I haven't described you...perhaps you could make the description and we will name it after you.
