Before I begin...I'm posting about a GIVE AWAY later...so check back...YIPPEE. In the meantime enjoy this little trip down The Farm Chicks lane.
Not so glamorous today. (Not that I am any day.. :) Just a few snaps and once some of this mountain of stuff is put away and I have myself a big gynormous nap I'll talk. Oh, and go to the bank. YEAH. I made some money. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
This was the line about 20 minutes before the doors opened. And I might tell you the nicest people are waiting in this line.
Some of the shops...
Gathering Gal was my neighbor last year..what a nice lady. She wore a Pillsbury Apron for the sale, how nice was that? She escaped the picture and I was too busy with my booth to find her. She's from CDA and just gathers and sales junk. Has a nice husband that tags along to lift and tote.
Purses made from drapes. So CUTE. She was out in the other room and I didn't have a chance to visit with her...she also repurposes denim.
My adorable neighbor. Adrienne is from Reno Nevada and she and her partner are hosting a similar event. Here is the webpage and this is her partner Tracey's blog. I have enjoyed Traceys blog for a long time and it was so fun to meet Adrienne. Next year Tracey had just better plan on coming to Spokane to meet all these PNW friends.
Speaking of friends. Love this girl. Love her. Hi Stephanie.
And these adorable friends came back on Sunday with Robyn (the name of her bag) just to say "hi" and to fill up "Robyn" once more.
Okay - one of my favorite shoppers. This darling TINY girl and this BIG burly guy. You can't see the tattoos on his arm as she is hugging him..but HE pushed her little PINK shopping basket and shopped with her ALLLLLLL DAY long...and was the sweetest thing. He would nod as she picked up things, and was so patient and kind. I tell you. He is a champ. I love him for 'giving' her this day. Note her cute purse, his earrings, her hat. You just have realize that The Farm Chicks is a big ALL OUT GIRL event. I only saw a hand full of roosters. And here he was.........patient...........kind. Love that.
My new friend from Lyndon. She found a bag she liked in another booth. And I convinced her to buy it and I'm making her a market bag with it. You know friends, kindred spirits, those who would pick up my things and fall in love with them....well...that is just all stuff money can't buy.
Speaking of things money can't buy. My neighbor at the event. Colleen. Sunday was slower and we could visit. All I learned from her about business, and resources, and tricks of the trade - so valuable.
Market totes - $59. Collages - $35 Making new friends - PRICELESS!
Now to the pile of stuff that needs to be put away.
And a BIG shot out to My Three Sons. It wouldn't have happened without them.
And my very own rooster...
I do love you to the moon...........
