Big buttons...no, I mean BIG buttons

I won a box full on eBay with a single bid. I think the trick was the bidding ended on Thanksgiving Eve and everyone was in the kitchen making those pumpkin pies.
That, my friends is a good eBay buying tip.
Back to buttons...I don't think you see how BIG...I mean REALLY big they are...look!

Flowers? Definitely going on some flour sack bags. Oh YUM! I am excited....I will share as I create.
And ummmm this happened last night.

And I don't have to go to work outside my home. Please don't hate me. I am just so thrilled...I can stay home! Home - home - home sweet home.
I am going for a walk with Miss Peppers and then snuggling back in, with my vacuum and box of Christmas decorations, a scented candle, and Nate King Cole, Kenny Rogers and the Gaithers reminding me of O Tannebaum, Mary Did You Know, and Look What's Happening in the Barn.
Surely I am blessed.
Speaking of being blessed. I have a dear friend in a nursing home 150 miles away. I call her frequently, and send care packages and the like...but oh, please let's visit the lonely during these long winter months. Who can you go visit? Don't even need to take something...just you and good conversation. Christmas is a time for angels...let's all be one. 'K

Sonic burgers

My first time. Carson said during the 'please Heavenly Father help me sell this house' season, that when there was actual money in the actual  bank from the sale he would take us to Sonic to celebrate. Believe me, I did my share of praying for said house to sale, we were more than a bit anxious...with the down turn real estate market and with double mortgage payments looming forever into the future. UGH...We really believe that the people that bought the house were divinely guided. They love it. AND....there is actual money in the actual bank and so we celebrated. Very fun and yum.

Yes, at one point Jackster B was holding everyone's drinks as we rearranged. Great fun. We loved all being in the car eating giggling celebrating.
It was also Ruby's birthday....but she was left at home - poor puppy, while we partied without her. That hardly seems fair, now does it?
